The golf swing is all about the take away

I know your take away is the most important part of the full swing, if the take away it not correct you will never be able to hit the ball on line over and over again.

Have you ever played a game of golf and hit the ball all over the place, well most likely on the take a way your path with the golf club was to much inside and so on your down swing you would have to come over the top to clear your body witch makes you to slice or pull the golf ball.

Here are some drill for improving your take away and full swing

1. Setup to the ball with the three golf clubs in place, this drill will teach you the position at the top of your back swing with a fairly straight left arm and it sets the club in the slot parallel to the target line.

Holding the club cock your wrists upward so the club head is pointing skyward, now lift your arms just above your head, rotate your shoulders as far as possible, allowing your hips to turn and your left knee to move to your right just a little, now hold that position so as to gain a solid impression of the feeling.

Move your head and look at the proper position at the top of your back swing.

2. This drill is for outside only and is not for hitting golf balls, find a wall on the outside of your home and practice swing the golf club back and forward with out hitting the wall. Stand with your back against the wall move your heels out about two feet, make your back swing with out hitting the wall hold and look at your hands and club to see that it is pointing down the target line.

Now if your not total convinced that what I am telling you is correct, just go to my web site and check out my four FREE golf video from the Driver to the Sand Trap and to drive home the truth even more check out my TRICKS video, this is a must see.
